Hello I'm Adam, a music photographer based in Scotland

I'm an indie and synth music loving fanatic who is obsessed with the world of photography, design and architecture. I am currently living in Scotland having recently moved across the border after 12 years in London. I continue to travel across the UK covering shows and festivals, my camera very rarely leaves my side.

As a native Geordie, born and bred in Newcastle, I started photographing bands whilst studying for my undergraduate in Architecture, taking my camera along to independent music venues such as The Cluny, Think Tank? and Riverside. Music photography always provided a challenge, or perhaps better seen as an opportunity. I love capturing the energy of a performance, a special moment between a performer and the crowd and all the small details that bands and artists put into their shows.

There's nothing I love more than being in the crowd catching the latest band to hit the scene or dashing between stages at a summer music festival.

I've been fortunate enough to photograph some of my music heroes including Liam Gallagher, New Order, Arctic Monkeys, Johnny Marr, Pulp, Thom Yorke, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Cure...and I can't wait to see where my camera takes me next.

Recent work has been commissioned and featured in leading publications including Rolling Stone UKFinancial TimesThe TelegraphManchester Evening News and other magazines such as Disco Pogo and House of Coco

I was shortlisted for a leading music photography award at the Event Photography Awards in 2023.
